About Etienne

Etienne Perret, the designer jeweler of Camden, Maine USA. Has grown beyond the borders of his town and state, and is reaching the world over to supply some of the finest retailers with his unique vision of gold and platinum jewelry.

His summer retreat to Maine from the academic rigors of the University of Vermont in Burlington acquainted Etienne Perret with the picturesque coastal town of Camden Maine in 1973. The magnetic charm of this town pulled at him after he returned to Vermont. Visions of carving a life out of the rugged coastline of Maine pursued Etienne until he gave up his academic studies, and at the tender age of 19 loaded his possessions into his little truck and sought his dream. In Camden he rented a little shop and pursued his hobby of silversmithing, selling his wares to the general public and making custom pieces for those that enjoyed his fusion of art, fashion and jewelry. Etienne operated this store in downtown Camden,Maine for 25 years, and saw it grow from a one-person operation to having 12 employees.
